fukk him

He should be released under 3 conditions:

1) give him coronavirus.

2) he will be the volunteer for human trials of his medicine.

3) if successful, he will be released. If unsuccessful, he will return to solidary confinement. Suffering from coronavirus until he dies.

I went for a drive today by the Brooklyn Bridge Park and you would not know there was a quarantine. It was packed. Most people had on masks but a large number of people did not. There was also quite a bit of people in flushing meadow park.
New Yorker here, not surprised, today was a nice day in the city. I'm telling y'all if its hot in NYC and the quarantine is still on, social distancing is gonna be nearly impossible in the city parks.

Also a good portion of those people might live within Walking distance of BB Park :ld: I went to Central Park a couple weeks ago, Broadway in the Upper West Side was a ghost town but the park itself was crowded.

A lot of people looking at the antibodies testing, thinking it bodes well for the possibility of relaxing the shutdowns, are interpreting this with a misguided perspective. It would appear they don't grasp the fundamentals of infectious diseases and immunology. It is not a zero sum game, where contraction of the virus will guarantee the onset of severe symptoms. It's almost certain that the majority of us will encounter the virus, but the severity of your immunological response will be determined by the viral load, which will be lower if you adhere to proper social distancing and hygienic protocol. A much higher number of people would be dead, well eclipsing the already horrific count of 60,000 in a month's time, if state governments hadn't shut businesses down and advised their citizens to be be attentive to their hygiene and practice social distancing (including the use of even cotton masks, which have been shown to limit the intake and outtake of the virus).

So basically it's only worse if you're some Healthcare professional working amongst Covid patients all day vs. You going to the grocery store and unknowingly coming into contact with some droplets as you walk by?

If you're in a closed, poorly ventilated space - which many supermarkets are - for an extended period, you risk lengthy exposure if you're not wearing a mask, keeping your distance and are around someone who is sick. That's why it's smart to know what you're going to purchase from the store, get in and get out. But, yeah, healthcare workers are definitely at a much higher risk, being constantly exposed to those infected.
