i’ve been sick for 3 weeks

just a couple days ago, my cough started to be more on the wet side, lots of mucus coming up. i thought i was starting to feel better. my appetite. has still been absolute non existent, though still. today i woke up feeling just horrible again. my lungs and back hurt from coughing so much, feel a little dizzy at times

i’m over this shyt man

Listen y’all, I been on these boards since 98’ on SOHH, and first day here. It never ceases to amaze me how the general majority of folks on these boards are really good people with good hearts. I know we all beef sometimes about things, but mostly everybody comes together in a big and positive way when someone asks for help. I am so fukking blessed to have so many people that I don’t know in real life send positive thoughts, prayers, and support my way in my time of need! I appreciate and love all you, I really do, you all really solid, good hearted folks!

And this is relevant to the pandemic because there are so many people like me that can’t see their loved ones through anything because the hospitals are locked down with no visitors. I had the nurse and the dr in tears along with me over the phone. I can’t imagine what these health care professionals are going through just having to deal with the phone calls. It was the worst phone call I ever experienced, and they have to do this multiple times a day.

Stay strong breh. My prayers go out to u and your wife. We will all get thru this. We've been thru so much already.

No doubt. I may not be the brightest but don't put me on that short bus. I meant on the subject of rain. Since you can get it from surface objects, will it raining on your car overnight be sufficient in cleaning the surface area? Or does it need seed a higher temperature or chemical substance to actually get it off. Especially for people that live in apartment building and have to walk to to dumpsters. I see people touching the dumpster door and lid all day. Then they go straight to their building and touch the door knob.

I mean, I don't think it's the death rate that's the problem. Those numbers are always overstated to get people to take shyt seriously. It's more that the hospitalization rate is very high for it. People are pointing about, "It's not that bad" but the hospitals are packed.

I posted this is n the HL thread, and want to post it here, too. Every single positive thought and prayer helps!
I just wanted to give everyone an update on my wife. She had a sinus infection, and because of the pandemic, we didn’t really categorize it as that serious and didn’t go to the hospital. Yesterday she became incoherent so I called an ambulance. They took her to the hospital, and I am not allowed to go be with her. The infection spread to her brain, and she is now in critical condition, and they are going to do brain surgery today. I am a fukking mess, I am broken, fetal position sobbing. Our daughter had to come and collect me, and tell me to be strong for her, I’m trying. I can’t hold my wife’s hand right now. I’ve never hurt this much in my whole entire life. I only ask that you folks pray and send positive thoughts my wife’s way, please, if anybody dislikes me on this board, or has a beef with me, I apologize for whatever, just please send positive thoughts and prayers towards my wife, she is my everything, my whole entire world, and nothing in the world means anything to me if I don’t have her with me. Please be safe out there, and let everyone you know that you love them! Please. A lot of y’all is like family to me even though we don’t really know each other irl, and I love you!

Stay strong breh. I’ll tell you the calls are the hardest part of my day.
