Older people generally have a more protracted, more dangerous time with this so it sort of makes sense.

Possibly younger people fight this off somehow without the need to develop as many antibodies.

From an Average Joe's view that's how I see it, so I don't know why they're acting like this is unexplainable. Younger people can probably fight it off with a lower amount of antibodies, older people need just about every single one they can get and unfortunately their bodies are giving out in the process. But again I'm not a expert
