The Governer's of Washington and California have been incredible.... remember WA was the epicenter of this shyt, and 1 month later, they arent even in The Top 10.
yeah, why anyone would believe Russia’s numbers is beyond me. Russia is one of, if not the most corrupt countries. They kill their journalists like nothing and their media is state run/controlled. A lot of countries are under reporting (including ours) to look better and more in control then they are.

On the other hand you factor in that Russias economy is shyt and it isnt a tourist destination. That could partially explain their numbers being lower if accurately reported but not by the current margins either way.
None of the numbers are accurate. Its probably fair to say that every country's numbers are underreported..especially China's.
You got people who got it but were never tested and recovered. People who died but were never tested. People early on that may have been erroneously recorded as having the flu. Its all nonsense

I live here, he's always been a no non-sense speech guy and it's working. Like I mentioned before, some of this does actually fall on him for greedily closing hospitals for more fukking real estate, but he is acting very presidential with the situation. It's very grim here, and he's not pulling any punches about it. People want to be informed, and for most part that's what he's been doing and people appreciate the effort. On the other note, I think that CA and WA governors are doing a better job than he is, and I agree that they should get enough attention. I think CA might be able to see a return to some form of social activity a lot sooner than people think. It's amazing that they're all set on equipment and ready to help other states, even though they technically should be hit the hardest-- especially with their huge asian populations travelling. It's fukking nuts that they were able to do that, and that's without having anywhere near Cuomo's screentime.
All in all though, I'm glad that we have some leaders to look up to during a very troubling time. You would expect it from the fukking President, but he wants to spin-the-wheel on blaming everyone but himself.

This, it's very hard to see the full extent of this because most people can't even get tested. It honestly feels like we'll reach herd immunity without realizing it at this point, or that the spread was grossly represented. We just don't know right now. I think by May, we'll have a clearer picture of how this virus works, spreads, real fatality rate, hospitalization and how long immunity lasts for. This was always assumed to be the peak month for a lot of us, so we'll just have to hope and pull through, while practicing distancing to prevent as many as we can from getting sick or spreading it to others.
