Highly recommend it.

Don’t look further than this forum. People want to see the world burn because they think they’ll be around to talk about it.

See what I posted. There have been trials it hasn't been as effective. It's not 100% determined yet.

The conclusions aren't complete on the drug. @BlackMamba824 also stated from personal experience at his job that its only used in "compassionate use" cases and from his experience he hasn't seen anyone come off the ventilator from it.

Trump should really not say anything on the matter. Even Fauci isn't pushing it yet to that degree.

Coronavirus: Dr. Anthony Fauci warns Americans shouldn’t assume hydroxychloroquine is a ‘knockout drug’
“We still need to do the definitive studies to determine whether any intervention, not just this one, is truly safe and effective,” Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Fox News. “But when you don’t have that information, it’s understandable why people might want to take something anyway even with the slightest hint of being effective.

Their deaths are still 700+ everyday but the number of cases per day is decreasing and the deaths will lag behind the cases. Despite how awful it is to have 700 people die a day, its a good sign that number is constant and not still increasing which may be a sign of their distancing measures working. It will take time for the daily deaths to decline day over day like the new cases are doing now.

Trump just said we need to get back to work and open up the country because we can’t have sports shut down. Gave a shoutout to Vince McMahon.

So pathetic. We’re doomed

:snoop::snoop::snoop:

He's starting to realize that any collapse of the sports industry would be truly disastrous for the world we live in. No sports likely means major societal changes and too many eyeballs on him and his terrible handling of everything. He's betting on a huge section of society being pacified by the bread and circuses that the sports industry provides and it looks like a decent bet. :ld:

More info on Italy:

4805 new cases and 681 new deaths in Italy. The number of patients hospitalized in intensive care has declined for the first time since the beginning of the epidemic in Italy

The target of bringing down the reproductive number (R0) to 1 has been reached. Now the goal is to bring it below 1. Earlier in the epidemic, it was as high as 3. This value represents the average number of people to which a single infected person will transmit the virus. An epidemic with a reproductive number below 1 will gradually disappear

An estimated 30,000 lives have been saved as an effect of the lockdown measures, according to Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) [source] [source]
