This is horrific. Two French doctors on live television are discussing how a potential new treatment against #covid19 should be first tested in Africa, "where are no masks, no treatment, no reanimation", "the same way experimental treatment for AIDS was done on prostitutes".

This shyt pisses me off to no end.

And even taking emotions out of it, it doesnt even make any logical sense

She had a bad stomach ache and was feeling nausea which aren't corona symptoms but then she started feeling shortness of breath. I went to see her. She ate some food and shes feeling better so I'm hoping it's all good.





On another note, I told yall about my cousin








Turns out that when they released her, she went home and was still having issues breathing so she went back the next day and has been there since.

My dad video called her today and she's not doing good... at all. She broke down crying saying she was scared.

Shes on the ventilator now.

I'm scared for her. The doctor I talked to yesterday told me that in his hospital, only 30 percent survive after being put on the ventilator

This dude is a clown but there is some merit to the notion that the docs have one goal and that's to keep everyone safe and I have no issue with that. They would advocate locking it all down for 2 years if they could. But there's another part to that. People need to start working eventually and it's not about just the economy but life in general. People need things to do. Society can't just pause for long extended periods of time. The problem is the prez is a retard along with some of these governors. Directives should have come from the top and been countrywide. Shut everything down for a month. We'd probably see a flattening of the curve. What we have now is some States are surging while others are flattening. Unless they block people from coming in it's a disaster waiting to happen.

Agreed. Having 50 states doing 50 different things is going to allow this to go on way longer than it should. I've been saying for a while there's a conflict between what needs to happen from a public health standpoint (mass shutdown) and what realistically can/will happen from the standpoint of the country as a whole. I certainly don't envy anyone having to make those tough decisions/trying to balance the above concerns on a national or state level but hopefully citizens keep all this stuff in mind the next time they go to the polls and cast a vote that could potentially put someone incompetent in office.

Thanks, brehs... I'm just thinking.. man, she's all alone in the hospital. Can't even have family by her side. Her children haven't seen her since she went in. If she dies, they wont ever see her again, because her body will be incinerated.

I don't know if I said this yesterday but the doctor I talked to yesterday said that the reason the bodies are being incinerated is because funeral homes are afraid to take their bodies. So the bodies are just being sent to get incinerated.

Seriously though this is the most politicized pandemic in my memory. Western media more concerned on scoring cheap political hits rather that reporting it from scientific pov. Perhaps we should ban politicians and pundits from commenting during pandemic and allow doctors to tell the story to masses.
