I understand venting, but you have no choice! You're in a first world country with a number of hospitals and equipment. A person from a 3rd world country would say welcome to their life and say you got a fighting chance. Other than seeing family, all those things are luxuries.

Wear the mask, wash your hands, tell the ones that matter the most you love them and get on with your life. It's a war, so you need to go about life like you in a war zone.

Something to consider:
Please avoid grocery shopping on April 1-3 unless you have a critical need. Many WIC/SNAP benefits come to low-income families at the first of the month and there will be a surge as these families redeem them. Many of these families' benefits were depleted more quickly because children are staying home from school and some families are going hungry right now. Also, please respect their needs by not buying items with a WIC shelf tag unless you absolutely need them. They cannot simply substitute these items with others; they would go without.

I understand this, but we have many people out here that were waiting for their next paycheck to hit today and are barely getting by themselves. As long as you're not hoarding get what you need

Florida, Mississippi, and Georgia currently have governor's still fukking around. Let's hope they wake the fukk up tomorrow. All three of those states are seeing rising spikes already and doing the bare minimum.

Edit: Also read Texas is fukking around too. Someone was saying that even though non-essential businesses shut down in Dallas only a county over it was business as usual. When that happens what is the point? :mindblown:

Agreed, although wearing a mask improperly won't help if you are healthy.

Brb majority of masks are disposable and not intended to be worn multiple times; they're also :trash: once contaminated with viral agents. Some masks (i.e. surgical masks) are virtually useless for preventing you from getting rona (some masks would esssentially trap droplets against your face.)

Exactly. PPE only so far. It is it to mitigate occupational/environmental health risks, it does not negate them completely. Wearing eaplugs =/= as not being exposed to loud noise in the first place. This is the same shyt.

Furthermore, PPE is only effective when worn effectively. Most folks don't know how to don/doff it, and most people haven't been properly sized for shyt, including N-95's.

Not saying to not wear PPE, just saying if you can be in a situation where you don't have to wear it, go with that as option A.

Oh trust i aint stupid... Im definitely taking precautions. Im frustrated because this shyt could have been avoided..
