So is the hdd issue fixed?

yeah, formatting it with the windows tool seemed to take care of the problem. now i must:

  1. buy a molex adapter for my fans
  2. figure out where to plug in this 20-pin blue USB thing (i think it's for usb3.0, the blue usb port on top of the case doesn't work, but the black one does)
  3. buy a wireless pci card, dumbass me didn't realize that there's no onboard wifi solution :to:
  4. download more ram

:dead: dumbass me didn't realize that i can plug two or three of the case fans into a single 4-pin adapter for which i have a molex adapter for the PSU

fan situation is straightened out. now i need to figure out why this 20-pin blue usb cord is laying lifelessly inside my case, and i need that god damn wifi :takedat:

any wireless adapter suggestions? PCI or USB, doesn't matter. i'd prefer getting a cheap one unless it's going to be a frustrating piece of shyt.

edit: i ordered some cheap USB adapter for about $11. should be here wednesday :takedat:...

that case is supposed to have some kinda controller for 5 fans. maybe that's what that is

Newegg.com - NZXT Phantom PHAN-001RD Red White Finish w/Red Trim Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case

an integrated fan controller with up to five 20W channels.
