Hell no. Suburb living >>> city living >>>> country/rural living

Suburbs? That's the worst option out of both. Long commute and boring with none of the scenery.

City: Nightlife, things to do, convenience
Country: Quiet, Nice scenery, land, can farm
Suburbs: Boring, no space, long commute

A lake near Tampa FL
As a city breh, I like visiting the country. Shout out to the area around Rocky Mount, NC. Shout out to Shoney's :wow:

If I was rich and knew how to drive, I would buy a vacation home in either rural NC or VA. Preferably by an lake. In my fantasy I live (depending on the day) in either a condo in Park Slope or a house in a NYC suburb with a secondary residence in the south.

I can’t be in the country. The burbs are cool, but you need a car. Where I live in queens, I can walk to the bodega and a bunch of restaurants/grocery stores, without having to walk a mile each way.

That suburb looks almost exactly like my neighborhood:merchant:

Also with country living I assumed more like this:

I have family that live in places similar to that, it's nice during the day but scary as hell at night.

Not all
Suburbs are the same

Some suburbs are 15 minutes from downtown

I would love the ability to go out in nature. Hit up a lakeside or something like that. BBQ, fish, walk outside without running into dogs. But i guess country people got a lot of those as well

I was telling my kids you can't really appreciate suburban life unless you have already Iived in either the city or country. My grandparents were from the country, and their kids and us were raised un the city. We're the first generation to have suburb kids and they miss the jewels of the other lifestyles.

Living in the city, to me, gives you great insight to people and their fukkery, as everyone is living in such a densely packed area...what we call street smarts.

Country folk who aren't close to amenities, on the other hand, must hone their industrious skills and probably exercise more caution for fukkery if the nearest hospital is a long ass drive away. If I want some shyt fixed right and well, I immediately think of someone from the country.

Put either in the suburbs and they could likely thrive. Putting a lifelong suburbanite in the country or city, though, might not fare as well, unless they had older family from one or another to still teach them something.
