What do black country artists have to do with white artists singing about hanging black ppl in the streets? :gucci:

That song was the #1 country song that year and is certified platinum.

They love the song so much they made a movie about it. :mjlol:

Cacs are going in on him on the first tweet. Apparently he's not about that small town life. Never lived the life he claims on his music:mjpls:

Guy lives in a 20 million dollar mansion surrounded by security and he's pretending to be some aww shucks small town boy and these fukking people eat it up every fukking time.

The degree to which country music is basically just blatant pandering is wild. Like every time I hear about country music now, it's some random city guy doing Redneck Mad Libs in a cowboy costume while being randomly offensive in at least one single per album so his fans know he's down.

Years ago the standup comedian Bo Burnham exposed the lack of rural blue collar authenticity of the modern country artists. He also made fun of their dishonest, phony and excessive pandering to small town rubes.

Most of the current Nashville artists are just upper middle-class sheltered suburban cacs imitating and portraying the worst stereotypes and clichés of redneck crackerdom. Their subject matter is limited and repetitive, the same songs around the same five themes: dirt roads, blue jeans, ice cold beer and trucks/pickups. They talk country but live in the city. They don’t come from a
Rural background but they claim small towns. They stay talking about southern rural charm, but they never worked a single day on a farm. They release songs about hunting/fishing, but in their private lives they never do these things. They pretend to be good old boy rednecks, so they can empty the wallets of the real rednecks. They are the cac equivalent of the studio gangsters. They are just frauds pulling a big con on them cacs. Country music industry is as manufactured and fake as the mainstream music industry. There are Lots of industry plants with zero legitimacy and credibility over there.

Industry is industry. But they’ve done a hell of a job making it look like they the last real ones on Earth. But then again rural white folks are the easiest money that can be made as long as you look like them

Real country fans know the worst thing that ever happened to the genre was 9/11 The 2nd Iraq War and Toby Keith. The outlaws have been silenced they were the blue collar stick it to the man fukk the system. Those guys were the real deal they lived the lyrics.

Look how they just turned on Garth Brooks County's biggest megastar ever and the Dixie Chick's just for speaking up. Hank Williams lll is the last of that breed too bad his own daddy sold him out.

Sounds like your typical middle aged white man with a Raylan Givens/Justified complex.

Most of these small town white folks are just white trash who failed to adapt to the times playing into the cowboy/biker vigilante character.

Delusional. Nobody is scared of them, most people laugh at them for a reason.
