Swagless outside of the cage, boring fights, and doesnt care what the customers think. I don't see what's to stan for him besides the love of seeing "cacs on sherdog furious"...how many fights is that good for? fucc this guy

Nah, he is human, he is the champion and more people seem to dislike him than like him. Everyone is a critic and got something to say, let the man do his job. He didn't get here and stay their by luck, it was hard work.

i was watching with a bias for Woodely and I thought maybe you could call the 2nd round because they were about even in strikes and Woodley seemed to have landed some good body shots, but the announcers were highlighting the kicks wonderboy threw.

That's why I rewatch close fights with out the sound rogan hypes up shyt that doesn't even connect sometimes

Just saw Weidman gotta face gegard next month :merchant:

He's gonna get injured in training camp ....or ragdolled and cut :to:

I put money on a spread across this card and the next all my picks come in last night
Just need Mousasi, stipe and gatselum to come though with the W:blessed:

Dana has no one to blame but himself. He fueled this money fight era by letting conor do whatever he wants. When ranked fights take a backseat to "money fights", it's creates the current climate we're in.

Also, these guys don't even get a fraction of the promo conor gets. No other fighters was promoted as hard as him. So for dana to use conor's success as a basis for his argument is a bit ridiculous. Don't just push one guy to the moon

Connor didn't get promo and crazy money thrown at him as soon as he entered the octagon JUST because he was a white & Dana happened to like him. he has personality & charisma, he talks a lot of shyt AND he backs it up. plus he came in at the right time when the UFC and MMA in general was really reaching that cross over to mainstream stage with Ronda etc.

@Master Teacher Strong trolling pulling that stat out of your ass by the way, Diaz is like top 5 but not #1 for finishes, he's behind Royce for all-time submissions in UFC

you said submissions, I said finishes, and their tied

Anderon Silva has the most with 14 lmao which is good for Silva because they aren't counting his whole career, just UFC, which is why he is easily the GOAT

and he's tied with Vitor Belfort who ha been in the UFC since he was 18 lmao, this nikka has been fight MMA has long as Mayweather been boxing

and mayweather has damn near twice has many KO's

The guy people said can't KO anyone and is boring, has twice as many stoppages as anyone in UFC history lmao

so the point still stands, Erroll Spence only been boxing pro for 4 years and he has MORE STOPPAGES THAN ANYONE IN UFC HISTORY

So yes boxing is way more exciting

Most boxing matches I watch are snooze fests, on occasion I've seen KOs, but I'm personally not as interested in boxing as MMA. Maybe if I boxed I would care more. I did when I was younger but never really loved boxing like I loved/love grappling.

I like to watch MMA because I like to watch high level grapplers do their thing in what I define as the ultimate test of a grappler's ability against strikes and freakish top-tier athletes.

LMAO one of the most gifted black belts in MMA history has a shyt ton of submissions just LMAO

most finishes in UFC is 14,

The prospect Erroll Spence already has 18 out of 21 fights, and he's been fighting on free tv the pass few years

Danny Garcia got 19 KO' lmao

you don't watch boxing at all ,to even make that comment

MMA IS SO BORING, when a guy slips a few punche like Cody did against Cruz with some boxing movement, everybody acts like this is the best thing ever

WHEN THIS HAPPENS COUNTLESS TIMES IN EVERY GODDAMN BOXING MATCH

Keep on mind that Woodley is 5'9 and he pulled this fine black woman

But thecoli told me that short men got it hard. :mjlol:

Anyway, congrats to Woodley and his team.

First, 5'9" is within an inch of the average male height. So while it's not tall, I wouldn't say it's short either

Second, a UFC fighter has all of the traits women find extremely attractive (high testosterone, low body fat, in peak shape, money, fame, confidence, strength, etc). Pretty sure nobody on thecoli would think dudes in the UFC have a hard time getting ass

I didn't see the fight last night (will watch today) but I'm glad Woodley isn't apologizing for the way he fought.

There's been white black and Latino champs ever since the very beginning of UFC why would Dana care? He cares about good fights it has nothing to do with race. This was a shythouse fight for both guys.
This. Casuals brining that TLR bullshyt in here :camby:
So Thompson talked all that "I'm gonna let my hands go more" stuff and still did the same shyt as the last fight. Rory gave the blueprint, don't know why he wasn't more active when Woodley was against the cage.

Basically. Woodley pretty much keeps himself at the end of everyone's punches and only goes inside like he should for shoots and blind flurrys. Maybe Rory just had stiffer punches than wonderboy because his blueprint is perfect. I feel like a boxer with power can beat Woodley if they can stave off his wrestling. Masividal comes to mind if he were able to get that high ranked. Too bad maia will strangle him
Woodley's fights are hard to watch :why:
Bruh I swear lol, this is why I never fukked with dude. Typical power wrestler falling in love with his hands after some MMA KO's while not improving their shytty boxing. This nikka is pretty much a black josh koscheck

Didn't stop GSP

only black fighters get the goal post moved

if the super bowl is only 6-9 at the end of the game with only 200 yards of total passing yards, oh well

woodley knocked Lawler out cold in the first round to win the belt lmao

Good point :ehh:

Fight was extra boring but seriously what did Wonderboy did to win it ? Pressure and feinting ? Dude backed Woodley against the cage numerous time and he was even more scared than him to throw when he was supposed to. And most of what he threw when he finally decided to do so was blocked by Woodley. Come on.

And really he wasn't even cutting the ring like that, he was mostly chasing. Rogan and Dom skewed the watchers how the were over hyping anything Wonderboy did in the first two rounds as if Woodley was never connecting with the right. At the end of the 2nd, they talk about Wonderboy's kicks that are barely landing and the replays show Woodley connecting clearly (and cutting) on Wonderboy :russ:. Thompson can be given the 1st obviously but 2nd and 4th could go either way realistically considering how poor the action was from both of them (I gave the 2nd to Woodley because when he landed with his right, he landed flush).

Rounds that Woodley won were clear, rounds that Wonderboy won weren't (even the 1st honestly). That made the difference at the end. It takes two to tango and even if Woodley did nothing, Wonderboy didn't do shyt either so why giving him rounds ? I expected Reddit to be in uproar and it's surprisingly really mixed. Some cry robbery of course but others agree that Wonderboy's cage control meant nothing because he did nothing with it. Like Holly backing GDR against the cage.

Anyway, good sunday for me, Bellew, Lubin, Thruman and Woodley with the wins :ahh:
