Everything is the same on this earth doppelganger even down to the very people walking it. There is another you doing exactly what you've done or will or are doing right now.
If this earth doppelganger is 5 years into the future, too. Or 5 years behind. That'd be interesting.

imma be mad as hell if i die and earth/humans survive long enough for legit space travel - imagine if folks really find other life forms out there

The sad part about the question and some of these answers is that physics already discusses this possibility with theories about parallel earths and universes. Multiverse theory covers this, the theory that the universe is truly infinite covers this. So highly intelligent scientists have already postulated theories about this and drugs had nothing to do with it.
What is sad to me is so few of us on this website know about this, that we assume when a brother talks about it that he must be high.

Well aware. There isn't a shred of evidence for a single one of those theories and they can't be proven without exotic matter or weird math anomalies like negative Mass .
And yes, that poster is higher than a kite breh . Be honest

Yes, but there are theories that have already been created. He is not speaking about something that requires you to be high to ponder. Also, what led to the theories were mathmatical equations that suggested the possibility of these being true, especially when considering the nature of particles in physics, which has a whole branch of science called quantum physics.

And these equations are those anomalies I was mentioning. They require things that cannot exist in order to be proven. hence, they can never be proven.
Those theories operate under the "what if this thing that doesn't exist actually existed" mindset. There are multiple branches of physics that study these "what if(s)". For example, String theory works the same way. You can do math on make-believe concepts like imaginary numbers and get good equations out of them. It doesn't make any of these things actually exist though.
Pay special attention to the section on quantum mechanics and Schrodinger. That's where your concept of the behavior of particles showing alternate realities come from. Those equations exist on paper as concepts, but there is no physical representation of them in the real world. You would literally have to make a number negative that can never, ever be negative.
As an analogy, say that you really loved chocolate bars but you wanted to lose weight.
It would be like me telling you that if you just ate a negative chocolate bar, you would lose 300 calories after each meal. I can do the math for this on paper and calculate how many negbars you need to eat in order to lose a thousand calories, but there's no such thing as a negative chocolate bar with negative calories. I can put this into an equation, but it won't materialize in real life. This is the status of parallel universes in physics in 2025.
