There is no real major worries about this. The best they could do is cause a new civil war, and the possibility of that is very small. What would be more of a concern is the sparse crazies here or there who may decide to go on shooting sprees, of which having our own weapons will make that less likely. I agree with most of what you post but I have to disagree with this. Let’s take a few things into account:

Massachusetts has always been pro gun, it’s where the American revolution started, the Springfield armory, smith and Wesson is from there, the John Birch Society which is like an OG conservative think tank was founded in Newton, Charlie Baker was the governor when I lived there and he’s Republican, and most of them white boys up there would take a byllet for Tom Brady. So if he lowkey supports Trump, a percentage of them will too.

The current Boston is built on immigration. Immigrants and their descendants are the only reason the mayor isn’t Michael McDonald O’Connell.
That MAGA shyt is fashionable, especially amongst students at elite colleges looking for motion. Think about all those frat boys and others aspiring to entree into that Boston Brahmin lifestyle

Historically speaking, the enslaved Africans were more advanced technologically and had access to the slavers resources, which the poor white man did not. The economies of all southern port cities relied on Black skilled labor, that’s how some of the enslaved people were able to make up the wages to purchase their freedom. That was the reason after slavery they had to enforce a strict racial code that disenfranchised black people politically and economically. Because during the times of the antebellum, there were more Black skilled laborers then white. That’s why when slavery ended they stopped using black labor in most skilled jobs and hired whites instead. Jim Crow was a way for the rich white planter elite class to solidify their grasp over poor whites. That’s why whites finally got public education en masse; they saw the impact it was having on Blacks and how it changed our lives during the Reconstruction era
