I think he could be T-Mac with lock-down defense. That seems like a much better comparison. I doubt he will have the arsenal T-Mac had on offense, but he definitely is a better defender. Let's see if he can continue this type of play by the end of the year. But, he is playing with a great cast of players around him which helps him too.

Paul George is my favorite new player in the league and I'd like it if he became the next Kobe but right now his game is nowhere near or like Kobe's. He can however be a poor man's T-Mac on offense and a better version of him defensively. Both dudes were 6'8"-6'9", had silky smooth shots/moves, and always looked like they weren't even trying when they played.

PG needs to put up 25/5/5 this year and he'll be a superstar in my book.

remember how he played defense against Barbosa in the Olympics? Dude literally couldn't believe how Kobe locked him down and said he don't play like this in the league. And I was like hell yeah he doesn't, because he gotta score 35ppg against 3 dudes every night. If you only gave Kobe defensive assignments like most stoppers in the league, he'd be the best perimeter defender in the league. When Kobe digs in and tries, he's one of the 3-5 best perimeter defenders in history. That is why he has an NBA RECORD 9 1st team all-defensive selections.

PG offensively isn't in Kobe or T-Mac league but defensively, he is clearly better than both. T-Mac was too skilled and Kobe is far too skilled for PG offensively. PG is like 6'9 and a half. He is clearly taller than both. He is almost as tall as Durant. His ball handling is no where near either ball much less Durant. He has average handles.
