At first I thought you meant something like total divas but I see what you mean. I think it's possible
Somehow I doubt it. There's this odd carny feel to wrestling once the production value and suspension of belief is taken away. I'm a huge fan of the sport, but it just doesnt translate as well in terms of drama levels like football, etc do. The only true drama that the show can get the audience to believe in is the behind the scenes stuff, but i'm willing to test out a show if one is ever created
it would need lots and lots of gay sex so that the wrestling scenes are extra tense.
I have always thought of this concept when watching larry sanders show and how that went behind the curtain of late night chat shows as it were...Surprised something similar hasn't been done for wrestling all this time, hell i'm surprised they aint made a proper movie about the "business" and the darkside that comes with it the wrestler was moreof character based thing about a single dad that just happened to be a washed up wrestlerThink "The Wrestler" meets "Breaking Bad" or "Orange Is The New Black" (I can't really think of a show to compare it to)...
....a dramatic series that follows the on-screen/off-screen lives of pro wrestlers, the scandals, the pain, the death, the murder, the romance, estranged family relationships, etc.
They could even base it on the boom in the 90's. Would people tune in?

Nikki Cox... What happened to her? She could revive her career in a dramatic wrestling series.
