Not their bloodline in a sense of monarch but its important for leaders in general to have children to move forward their legacy and success. Still playing the field as an older/single man shows immaturity for a leader. It may be acceptable in a less civilized/barbaric nation where leaders die before 30 but in modern times it isnt a good look, friend. Typically they find a wife before they are propelled into leadership. As i stated it assists in giving them greater understanding of the people they are leading. A man with no wife and no kids still acting like a bachelor while running the country has a completely different mind set as it relates to family. A leader whos been through that phase already and has a wife/family is more seasoned in life, mature and more prepared for leading a group of people.

Now who said that as a bachelor you're necessarily "playing the field"? And what the hell does that have to do with running a country anyway? Please don't tell me you go by that simple logic that "married=mature=good president" and "bachelor=immature=bad president"? Damn if only the world were so simple.

And stating that "It may be acceptable in a less civilized/barbaric nation" is extremely judgemental, and actually quite insulting as Belgium's PM isn't married (he's actually gay, which I'm guessing is "barbaric" for you) and François Hollande never got married, and was single when he was running. And plus it's highly hypocritical as we all know Kennedy was sleeping around, but appareances were safe as he was married :rudy:

I just told you what it had to do with it. Better understanding. There are things a man who has gone through the motions of life understand that a man who has not, cant understand. This is important when ruling people. Married = mature good president. Bachelor = immature = bad president. Not only bad but demonic president, friend

Hollande was married when he got into office.

:snoop: at this overly simplistic reasoning...so we're just gonna act like EVERY SINGLE married man has never cheated, "played the field" on the low, or taken immature decisions...right. You gotta be trolling.

And check your info, he wasn't married. He was in a "free union" (BARBARIC!) with Segolene Royal for a long time, but was separated and was with another woman (DEMONIC!) when he was elected.

Marriage is an important part of getting ahead: lets people know you're not a homo; married guy seems more stable; people see the ring, they think at least somebody can stand the son of a bytch; ladies see the ring, they know immediately you must have some cash or your cock must work.

Gay men get married to women all the time to try to prove to themselves that they aren't gay. Ever hear of Ted Haggard? Larry Craig? Ken Mehlman? There are many, many others.

Married men might seem more stable, but what is marriage, really? A commitment to a contract that someone could easily obtain during a drunken bender in Las Vegas? Doesn't really sound like the best litmus test for stability for me.

People are going to figure that someone can put up with a man if he makes it that far in politics no matter if he's married or not. Doesn't have to come as the result of a marriage. In fact, lots of married people can't stand each other after the first several years. Why do you think that the divorce rate is so high?

He aint married? Wow

That explains a lot he's definitely swinging on the other side of the apple tree

Are you suggesting that he's gay because he's not married? I think it's smart to not get married - shows he's not a sucker that's a slave to the pussay.

Country of contradictions....

Time after time we learn that another married, God-fearing "family man" politician had an extramarital affair and yet we'll look at the bachelor with suspicion

I think no. The most influential, and probably most numerous, part of the public would feel the president could never understand their interests if they didn't have a family (kids) to look after. And if the bachelor had kids but was not married, that'd be even worse.

They had 4 kids together. Lets not play semantics. Family has got us where we are today not bachelors. I wouldnt trust a queen or a bachelor to run anything because they have little to lose in life. Homosexuals are self centered and bachelors cant understand family and a man whos divorced....:scusthov: if he cant even keep his family together i dont really expect him to keep a country afloat like that, friend.

Breh...I don't even know where to start..."semantics"? You're either married or your not, he wasn't, what does having 4 kids have to with that...breh...this whole post reeks of patricarchal "holier-than-thou" hypocritical bs...you remind me of those old dudes saying if a woman isn't married at 25 she's either a whore or a witch...yeah sure buy a ring and all of a sudden you're "mature"...damn near every married man should run for presidency if "family got us where we are today not bachelors"...I guess you researched that huh? let's keep on conveniently not talking about extra-marital affairs and fukk ups made by married men...this shyt reminds me that "I'm virtuous because I go to Church on Sunday" bs...nah breh you're virtuous by your every day acts, not claping your hands once a week, just like you should be judged on what you do, not on some vague "understanding" of family that a ring would magically give you. And anyway what does "understanding family" have with running a modern economy, organizing healthcare or protecting a country against terrorist threats? :stopitslime:

If you're getting your culo blasted on a daily basis, you arent a man of virtue.

If you are cheating on your wife, you arent a man of virtue.

Bachelors will never be elected in America because a leader will be too distracted from all of the demonic beasts that will be trying to gain his favor and marry into power. Also, it will never happen because only particular bloodlines are allowed to become president in America. Basically, we're talking about nothing.

Its hilarious how people act like everything that got us to where we are today is meaningless because they live from the fruit of such work. Patriarchs run things and when they stop, things get ugly.
