Good idea, I guess
But
:jbhmm:
What about all the transport/deliveries to the warehouse, and the noise pollution/inconvenience that may come with it at random hours during the day/night
Would I like to live in close proximity to that? Would you?
:jbhmm:
I live next to the 3 train
I would be fine

Correct, its a big time tax break and probably the only it would make sense to build a Costco in the middle of a densely populated area with limited parking.

DOESNT ALL COSTCOS
HAVE BIG PARKING LOTS/GARAGES?

That area was an absolute disaster for traffic 20 years ago, with all the development done with the huge tower and apartment infill I can’t imagine how it feels to be a longtime resident right now.

It’s over for Baldwin Hills/Ladera Heights/View Park/Windsor Hills :mjcry:
Bricc baby and the 60s in shambles lol

This is where we are headed. Yall need to watch “Sorry to bother you”. Basically an Amazon like company decided to force their employees to live on the job site. I’m very surprised Amazon hasn’t done it yet, Tesla tried it but it didn’t really work out too well in Austin.

Costco is just a tenant in this building, they’re not the ones building or managing or own the apartment building. But imagine going downstairs for a 1.50 hot dog combo. Mix use buildings like this are a great idea.
