Nepotism is general enough to fit, but call it cronyism, favoritism, or whatever you prefer. The story doesn't "show," all it does is quote his spokesperson. There are also large gaps in the story. I don't know what companies you've heard of where there are only 3 owners and advisory board hirings can be made without their knowledge or involvement, but that's not exactly a widespread practice. If you were Booker, would you want to be visibly involved in such a process? No, so that's not really proof of anything. Do you think Ross went to talk to the Zuckers without Booker's knowledge or consent?

actually the way it sounds, it sounds like a normal company, they probably passed the name by booker, but its pretty normal for not so qualified people to get hired because of who you know and the director not be involved

I think this story would be significant if it was hatched from bookers own devious mind as a masterplan to get good CNN coverage, I think it's just networking colliding with politics, but I see people like this kid get hired all the time the only difference is that it's CNN and its public

But anyways my point is that I don't see any evidence of a devious plot, I see evidence of the corniness and back scratching typical in the Internet field
