It depends I’m a consultant at a big firm so clients have to trust me. When I’m talking to people from MY company I just talk how I’d normally talk. When I’m talking to a client I have to gauge them first. For pretentious clients, I put on. For clients that just care about results, I just talk normal.
everyone at the corporate level have to be fake in some way, you can't just say what you would normally say to a friend or family member, not in the way you sound or talk but the things you say and the way you say it.

No, but i have been told multiple times in the past i "talk" white so in a way i do i guess.
Nah, I speak to them the same way I speak to people on the street and I work with scholars and seasoned professionals. Where I bridge the gap is my knowledge of pop culture going back to decades before I was born. Bring up the right references and suddenly everyone is comfortable.
If you don't have a "professional" side that you can tap into if needed.....hold this L.

I curse a lot, so trying to cut that back. Idk how they want me to act though.
Right now I’ve been passive, trying to observe how things are done (I’m fairly new to this agency and role, but it’s not unfamiliar since my entire career has been a lil bit of all of it) and just trying to know wtf I’m talking about before I start talking…
But I say idk because I think they want me to say more. I think they want me to get on peoples asses because they are WAYYY to nice and p*ssy about serious shyt and I’m not used to working around people who dodge their responsibilities. I will call you out and I already begun to out of lack of patience and confusion. Like everything they do is done incorrectly and its confusing.. and nikkas think it’s funny. Ive already cussed 2 people out in a year..
Laughing, joking, acting smug in meetings I will directly confront you and embarrass you in front of everyone in that zoom meeting and in person if I think you are wrong.
