All the pharmacies are booked or either sold out of the home test kit.

shyt felt like the start of the pandemic all over again. I think most people are going to end up catching this shyt.
My mom called a couple spots around here just to see when their earliest testing times are (she has no symptoms but just was curious) and most places were saying January 3rd or 4th around here.

I haven’t seen anything quite like this during this whole Covid era. I couldn’t get a testing appointment at CVS or Walgreens in like a 30 mile radius.

I went to two urgent cares and they are fully booked.

All the cough and flu medicine is almost gone at the two pharmacies that I went to.

Now I have no choice but to go to the county testing center tomorrow.

A friend in Cali had a similar experience with getting tested when we spoke recently. A lot of the major testing spots I pass in Brooklyn have lines wrapped around the building. When we got our original doses and boosters we went to a family owned pharmacy which has really easy thankfully. When my wife got her booster a week back they were also offering testing and almost no one was there getting tested but a block away you had like 50+ people waiting outside for a test. If you have any non corporate pharmacies where you are I would recommend calling around to see if they can test and saving yourself some grief. Wishing you all the best

I can't even imagine in Brooklyn, breh. I bet it's insane there. I'm in a city in NC, and over the holidays I usually help my friend that runs an Edible Arrangements--helping take deliveries for some side money, and just to feel helpful and cruise to music. Anyways, last week I helped for a couple days before Xmas, and they're right next door to a toxicology place that does drug testing and Covid tests. The line was totally wrapped around the whole strip mall. I've never seen a line like that for anything in this area. If it's that crazy out here, I can't imagine how bad the lines must be in New York.

Be safe out there!
