How does that work for you? I have been stir crazy

It's been difficult but I focus on work and I love Brooklyn/NYC. I rented a house at the end of Long Island for 6 months for part of last year and this year which was cool to help switch things up. I also own a house in the mountains, I'm there now for the holidays, and we just got a foot of snow. Idk I guess that's like going on vacation because the environments are so different but it's still New York at the end of the day. If I were in Europe the amount of driving would put me in different countries.

is it bad that I don't even care anymore? My booster shot is scheduled for December 11th, and I'll do whatever they asked me to do but I'm emotionally exhausted from this pandemic. I almost don't have it left in me to get worked up again.
My wife feels same

I'm close... I got Vax but I'm exhausted emotionally too

Nope. Thing right now is this,... let the unvaxxinated die or live through hell. You can't force people to take the vaccine, you can suggest, but it's there choice. The problem though is that this COVID-19 won't vanish, ironically enough because people were being selfish while others did their due diligence.

Now it's with us, and while our bodies adapt to it, their's is left open to get it at a severe incident.

They won't be able to run from it forever, eventually everyone will get it, it's just how severe will it be.

All public indoor spaces need a complete overhaul of ventilation in line with WHO recommendation:
Roadmap to improve and ensure good indoor ventilation in the context of COVID-19

Additional points on ventilation:
In the US, fresh air supply in classrooms (for ages 5-8 and ≥9 years) and other education facilities should be at least 5 L/s per person, in accordance with the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standard 62.1-2016. In Hong Kong, standards for new buildings recommend that fresh air provision in normally occupied spaces should exceed the minimum ASHRAE standard by at least 30%. Applied to the school setting, this would be equivalent to 6.5 L/s per person. The World Health Organization has recently stated that indoor ventilation should be 10 L/s per person (around 8-10.4 air changes per hour [ACH] depending on the ceiling height).

Airborne transmission of SARS-CoV-2: ventilation improvement strategies in preparation for school re-opening | HKMJ

For example, my company has a ventilation of 0.5 ACH, while the above WHO recommendation is at least 8 ACH...
I immagine most places would be similar now, and we need an order of magnitude improvement...

In the meantime, while we work on ventilation, we could have portable HEPA filters on the floor, UV systems on the ceiling, and portable CO2 monitors to know when to open windows, recommended by CDC:
Community, Work, and School

Because I got Pfizer, I need to get me a Moderna booster but there is no possibility to schedule an appointment for at least 2 months here. They only opened the booster for 18+ people on Friday so I'll most likely be able to get it in February :francis:

Diego Sanchez is not known for being clever so it's not surprising.
