I can see it being bad until March/April. The vaccine will only make it worse if you ask me. You can still spread the virus even after they vaccinate you. The vaccine mostly protects you. Most folks want the vaccine to continue partying, traveling, etc. We are already having class-based discrepancies in vaccine distribution. Rich folks are going to get protect, while working-class people are being forced to the back. It's going to look terrible.
Biden gotta do a federal mask mandate, bill freezes, etc. Folks need to be incentivized to stay home unless they are working.

We don't know if it prevents transmission and we don't know how long it lasts.
We will find out soon enough though
I will more than likely being in the latter groups of getting the vaccine, but they should have organized everything better. We need everything rolled out faster because vaccinated folks will be our super-spreaders.

I am not so fatalistic yet. I think we need to wait for the data / studies to be released before coming to hard conclusions.
It's taking longer than we would ideally like but we have to live with it.
The next major one to drop will be the studies on the UK variant (and the SA one hopefully).

I was contacted by the CDC to register for the vaccine brehs. I was given a link to the registration module to sign up. I browsed the process, it's straightforward. They ask you about allergies/list of medications, etc. I didn't complete the registration yet.

This is perfect storm shyt. I think it's 70-80% chance that at this rate the virus becomes endemic in the US and the UK.
How other nations are going to start treating us around winter yearly when they virus picks back up will be anyone's guess.
