Anything to make this shyt go away already :manny:I already feel like 2021 ain't gonna be any better until later on that year at best. 2022 might be the best scenario at this rate. I'm skeptical of the vaccine though.

yeah, 2021 is going to be more of the same unfortunately, only bright spot is Trump being gone

make it mandatory fukk that
Can't do that.

Sane Americans are going to have to be careful, stay safe and get vaccinated.

But honestly...I dont think America is ever going to get this under control with the attitudes being expressed in these red states.

That’s why it has to be mandatory. Tie it to federal funding or something ridiculous if they have to. As it is we have to have shots to go to grade school, college, and probably other stuff I’m not even thinking of.

I think most people will step up but obviously some people will fight it because it’s become politicized and xyz. Reality is going to bite 300k dead, 3000+ people dying a day (basically equivalent to a small town worth of people a day!), idk how many people hospitalized over the course of this thing... I also believe employers will make it a requirement as well due to the nature of health insurance/liability.

but in blue states, politicians are telling these people they have to close their businesses but not compensating them for it

and thats cool, i guess. but how long are we supposed to expect rational human beings to go along with this?

you have cuomo demanding every restaurant in the city shut down, offering them no money, and not giving them an end date. all via executive order :mindblown: no one made this dude a king

by shutting down, cuomo is doing the only responsible thing he can do, but the federal government is responsible for the lack of compensation. businesses should direct their anger at trump

Let's do nothing then, and let people die and have God sort it out.

i dont know florida's situation, but in my state of AZ, we have the highest rate of covid spread in the nation, probably on earth period. our republican governor has let business do almost whatever it wants until recently having them move to outdoor dining, but actually nobody is enforcing anything

we are the scenario for doing nothing, and arizona hasnt "imploded" but i really dont enjoy living in covid ground zero. both my uncle and mom tested positive; uncle died and mom took a second test and came up negative. she still quarantined and thought she was going to die. now her job is trying to let covid+ people come back and work around her. dozens of them got sick on thanksgiving and are now all testing positive around her. the shutdown that china did allowed them to have a massive outdoor music fest without infections. i dont know if governors have the legal right to shut dining down indefinitely, but the efficacy of people avoiding each other is proven
