yes, I have a friend who is the head of the health department in a small town and they started seeing Thanksgiving related cases on Monday already

I can't find the tweet but an ICU doctor posted yesterday about a patient who had 20 people (family) over for Thanksgiving, one of them was had covid, over the past week all 20 tested positive with a few being severely sick

So what's the projected number with the unchecked Thanksgiving travel...

yea, I could see 5k a day easily , even when we hit the 2k a day mark it was two weeks ahead of health officials predictions. The real death rate is probably higher than that.
