On a more serious note, this shows the failure of leadership in a lot of society. We can get together for the Olympics, WHO and other world committees but when it was time to make a true stand of togetherness, a lot of countries literally covered their eyes and said YOLO. Not all but this lack of leadership defies description.

This is probably some form of American Exceptionalism but I believe the United States having such weak leadership at this moment is a contributing factor. I heard Obama on Pod Save America this week and he talked about how much of the world looks towards the US during a time of crisis. If we had some semblance of competent leadership in the White House, i'm not saying everything would be perfect, but I feel we would feel more united with other countries in fighting off this virus

If you havent already play a game on mobile called "Plague Inc" came out way before COVID and it scary how accurate it was/is to whats happening now
