I don’t think Pence would hold up well against Biden, I mean he’s doing a lot better with his speeches now and isn’t afraid to address things as much as Trump or maybe Pence. We’ll find out how he stands up against Kamala.

yeah, pence would never win a primary. but once you get to the general election where u only have two choices

dont underestimate him in the debate either. hes gonna hit all the right talking points about jobs and the economy

unless kamala chokes shes bodying him in the debate. none of those talking points are going to hit in the age of coronavirus with businesses closing left to right, tons of people unemployed. and hes in charge of the "task force" so he should get buried. if she goes in like against kavanaugh shes got this.

i can imagine him asking kamala who will really be president. is she there to support bidens policies or to boost herself. its a weak attempt but he doesnt have many other attack angles

i dont live in any of those upper midwest states biden needs to win like pennsylvania, wisconsin, michigan so i dont really know. but republican presidents haven't done well there in the past with their economic talking points. dole, bush, mccain, romney all lost those states relying heavily on those talking points. i think they are all states with legacies of working class and union-oriented politics so the democrats have an advantage on economic policies, even though unions are becoming less and less relevant there. trump had a kind of appeal with some of the blue collar unionized and former union guys that is kind of unique to the modern republican party (reagan did too) and pence doesn't have that at all. so i can't see him winning them.

arizona on the other hand i think pence would be a lot more likely to win than trump this year because he has no mccain baggage. all those republican candidates that lost the upper midwest i talked about above easily won arizona, so i think pence could keep it going.

overall i think it would play out similarly to the 2004 election. the difference is now states like virginia, nevada and colorado are more reliably democratic than they were then so biden would win.

2. in about 4 to 8 days he is seen less, few days after that he is hospitalized. Few days after that we learn he is put in to a medically induced coma. There is a team pence / team Trump kids power struggle but pence eventually wins (elections have been postponed by now) . Whole economy is in shambles. 45 days later Trump dies. 60 days after this (after 30 days and nights rioting and civil unrest) Pence defeats Biden in our late elections.
