I don't understand American patriotism. You get annoyed at someone for not standing up for the anthem, yet you can't stay indoors to prevent the spread of a virus with a high mortality rate. How much can they claim to love their country.

Note that I understand it completely. It has never been about a love for their country because deep down they would prefer to see it burn than see black people flourish.

I hope y'all been paying attention to these anti-lockdown protests.

They are white privilege and white supremacy rallies. When you see pictures of white women holding up banners that say "give me liberty or give me death" outside of a baskin robbins while holding a big gulp you just know this country deep down has no real meaning anymore.

All the pictures I've seen of thse rallies it's all white all people waving American flags, confederate flags, nazi banners, semi-automatic rifles, and Trump/Pence 2020 banners. I've only seen one pic of a black guy at one of these rallies. I've never seen any pics of non-white people otherwise marching with them. Black folks be getting tear gassed and arrested for peacefully protesting police violence against unarmed black people. Got hit with water hoses and attacked by dogs for protesting segregation in the 50s and 60s. Those were real causes that affected generations that were being fought for there.

They are not fighting for anything except for the right to be treated like kings and queens while treating everybody else as peasants whose only purpose in life is to cut their hair, do their nails, serve them their food, wipe their ass, and tuck them in at night. THEY do not want to work. they want everybody else (ie us black folk and other non-whites) to work for them.

This is what this return "back to normal" is implying...a return to inequality.

This virus is far more spread than most people realize. It is less deadly than the flu and mainly affects the elderly, those with underlying health conditions and immune compromised individuals.

When is the last time Flu cases overwhelmed our hospitals?

Shutting the whole world and destroying the livelihoods of millions and imprisoning the human race through a virus is not warranted, is excessive and an infringement on all our human rights.

And on the other hand, not shutting down would have led to the collapse of our healthcare system. Literal death panels would be created to pick and choose who dies and who gets care.
