If anything, you'll see pharmaceutical companies have no choice but to bring those jobs back to the States. The secrecy of the Chinese government created a domino effect worldwide. If you have investments there as a corporation, this should have been the kick in the ass you needed. One would hope they learned a valuable lesson.

Corporations have saved trillions on outsourcing. And who knows how much $$$ under the table?

Those jobs are not coming back

i wonder if they are getting their numbers rang off in them take away and nail parlor spots ?

fck them, remember last year when 39 asians got found dead in the lorry in essex. i wonder if that was the first strain.

i also hear that the AA who caught it, just sweated it out. so i know this man-made shyt is coming with a new strain since blacks are immune to this shyt.

I’m in Vegas and low key I think me and my roommate had it. He had a vicious cough for like 2-3 weeks with some flu symptoms for a few days. He’s flying once a week for work, always at the airport.

I woke up one day with a sore throat and the sweats like 2 weeks into his sickness. I was fine in less than 48 hours.

this was mid February.

kinda doubt it really being corona, but it’s kinda weird how Vegas has no cases yet, is the most traveled to city in the US (sans New York), and every state around us has confirmed cases.

I agree that we were way too dependent on China for our products, but I’m nervous about Mexico being the replacement. I’m a bit annoyed with this country being rewarded after so many of their residents fled to the US, thus becoming illegal immigrants & depressing the wages of our work force. However, I do understand how the proximity of the country may override this opinion. What it doesn’t override is the potential of increased drug trade simply by having Mexico as a #1 trade partner. Are we truly diversifying our suppliers or are we simply shifting the role from China to Mexico? The latter would essentially cause the same problem that we’re in now.

So you don't want Mexicans to come to the US, but you also want Mexico to remain poor, so that the population there can't find employment? What a breathtaking display of stupidity.

The cartels don’t want it because the corporations will send real hitters along with the U.S. Armed Forces to clean house.

Companies were already beginning to leave china for se asia well before coronavirus.

But with the entire asia being vulnerable to coronavirus, maybe they might bring jobs back onshore but with the pressure to increase minimum wage and these corporate oligarchs being greedy as fukk, i doubt that'll happen.

They most likely move operations to another resource rich developing country in Africa or Latin America.

Breh, China kept secret but got serious at the end and built a state of the art multi floor hospital in 10 days. Now they have no new cases. Since you a Trump fan, what the fukk is he doing to help the US ? Tell me

That’s so sassy. Did you twirl your neck while typing that response?

Bottom line, its not about Mexico remaining poor or not. It’s about not rewarding countries that have caused direct strife to our economy. It’s not even America’s job to save the world.

And even with me saying that you conveniently missed my following statement which stated that I can understand the proximity of Mexico & it’s logistical benefit overriding my initial statement. You either felt like being an a$$hole or think that illegals should circumvent the law for their benefit. Either way, I totally disagree & I can do so in a productive manner & without the obnoxious attitude.

Actively quarantining those that are coming from points of infection and proposed stricter border security and outright bans when news of the virus finally was let out by the Chinese. Appointed the leading expert or HIV/AIDS to lead efforts domestically. Anymore or do you enjoy sucking my penis?
