Rewatching Charlotte Vs Asuka.



fukking incredible match. Couldve main evented.

Watched the main event back & that shyt was just funny watching it.

Went 15 minutes having the most by the numbers Brock match possible (all the suplexes & head ramming the post spot), 1st 3 moves Roman got where all superman punches, commentary barely attempted to put over the fact Roman is the only guy in forever to kick out of the F5, Roman kicked out of so many F5s that it became a parody, Roman got busted open hardway, Roman lost making all this buildup pointless, & then they really tried to roll credits & come back hoping the crowd would give Roman a respect pop or something after the same crowd spent the whole match giving not 1 fukk

Asuka vs. Charlotte was the real dream match. Unlike AJ and Nakamura, those two were actually booked as stars.

Becky should've been the MITB holder. She should've interrupted the match after the Spanish fly. Pushed Asuka out of the ring, done her finish on Charlotte and stole the title. Becky heel turn, gets heat for stealing the title, "beating" the streak without pinning Asuka, and preventing a clean finish of a dream match. Moving forward there's Becky vs. Charlotte, Becky vs. Asuka, Charlotte vs. Asuka rematch, and a triple threat match. All matches with good heat.

Instead Becky is doing nothing and has been doing nothing for months. The title is on a novice wrestler. And Asuka tapped and bowed down to Charlotte. Let's feed the streak to the girl who is already booked stronger than all of the women guys!!

Now Asuka is going to get the title from Carmella? After bowing down to Charlotte after tapping Wouldn't shock me if Charlotte beats Nia for the title very soon. otherwise we have a Charlotte vs. Carmella match to look forward to?

They blew this at so many levels it's astounding. It's gonna be all for not when Asuka and CHHHarlotte switch brands and nothing comes from any of this build.
