They clearly had no intention on Becky's new heel character taking off like it did.

Boring year? Story wise, it's actually quite good, finally conquering foes she never managed to before and getting something interesting out of Natalya. Outside of the mixed tag feud and whenever she teamed with Charlotte, it's not bad especially for face reigns standards. The issue was only building 1 challenger at a time which is why the defenses are sparce.
