According to Wrestlingobserver.com, Ring of Honor officials confirmed today that Jim Cornette is officially on a sabbatical from the promotion.

Cornette reportedly had a blow up at the last TV Tapings in Belle Vernon, PA, and was not scheduled to attend the Final Battle iPPV event. The blow up was described as usual Cornete frustration "but worse," where he expressed issues with problems outside the ring. Within the company there was the belief that he was done, and many within the company feel that he is was suffering from burnout, and had been for some time.

The decision was said to be amicable, and noted it would become obvious soon enough since Cornette wouldn't be at the next event. Hunter Johnston (Delirious), the current booker, who replaced Cornette in the role, will handle the production of television in his absence. At this time, there is no timetable for a potential return.

Where the hood Where the hood Where the hood at
Cornette always remained salty that Russo contributed in ushering the greatest era in pro-wrestling. He couldnt take Russo's quick promotion in WWE and the success it bought. He couldnt accept that the boring, outdated style that was prominent during the 80s in places like Smoky Mountain Wrestling had come to an end.

The funny thing is Russo has never had a bad thing to say about Cornette but this paedo never gives up an opportunity to bad mouth him

To answer this thread, Yes Cornette is a failure :beli:
