Umm.. Kip and Penelope are engaged in real life so it's natural for Kip and his people to defend her honor. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand with that. Meltzer has been on a first name basis with every top promoter for 40 years. He’s always had a level of influence even when the wrestlers hated him. Even though Bischoff runs his mouth about Dave, if you listen to his old observer radio interviews, it’s clearly one of people that’s spoken regularly. Cornette has been an outcast in the industry for a decade and a complete outcast since the racist comment on NWA.
