So he was on duty "investigating a string of burglaries in the city" and was "in plain clothing", and driving an "unmarked police vehicle"?

So, essentially he was off duty?

These white people think a lot of people are just dumb. A city has many burglaries a day, so anyone can say there are a "string of burglaries" happening in a city on any given day. Those burglaries aren't necessarily connected with one another. The cop was off duty, wearing regular clothing, and driving his own car when he decided that Corey, a Black man, was suspicious being on the side of the road.

Police departments play that game a lot. Officer gets into a bar fight and suddenly it becomes "while in an undercover investigation."

New details: Corey was shot up close, then ran 40 ft where he was shot in the back.
The nikka was stranded on the expressway and you mentioning burglaries? :mindblown:

Part of the game. Media plays right along with it too. They're getting their narrative and built-in excuses out front. Now, it's 3am I want to know what this off-duty cop was up to. Was he leaving a bar? Did HE have alcohol in his system? Or, did they even bother testing him?

It's like it makes no sense. If a cop sees an abandoned vehicle, he's supposed to take a license plate and report the car to be towed. The fact that the man was running fully implicates the cop, why you shoot a running man in the back is beyond me :smh:

Fukk this shyt. The mental gymnastics people are willing to engage to defend these actions stopped being laughable a long time ago. Now its just pathetic, insulting, and sad.

@Nappy Hacker is right, the media is asking the wrong questions about the wrong person. Lets hear about this cop that was doing this "undercover" work.

Fukk outta here with that bullshyt :camby:

Not a damn thing in this story makes sense.

3:15am, you see a car pulled over (i'm guessing with hazards on) and you park behind and walked up to him to "investigate"

What is there to investigate? You are either there to help or not. This isn't adding up. You would ask if he needed a tow, or a jump, or a lift. Its not a crime to have your car break down. If he says i'm good, then you get back in your car and keep it moving...

Don't put that officer on admin leave, bring his ass back and make him explain WHAT THE FUKK he was really doing at 3:15am on a Sunday in civilian clothes and his gun out. I don't see any way that the situation could have escalated unless the cop escalated it.

Maaaaaaaaaan, the bullshyt the cops are trying to do on this case is just :francis:

3:15am... someone comes up on you... of course he would think he was being attacked.

If this cop was here to help he would have stated his intentions from the jump. Otherwise, what the fukk was he doing? I'm getting heated just thinking about this. I've had to change tires on the side of the road before. This could have easily been me :wow:

EDIT:

No matter how the cops twist it, you cannot explain shooting him from behind.

Running from the police is not a crime, evading arrest is. And he was never arrested or even investigated.

Brehs, this shyt has to stop somewhere. This could have easily been anyone one of us....

First. This situation is disgusting.

Second. I have family that are cops. They are perfectly logical and rational and cool headed about everything UNTIL you criticize cops for doing these things...then the blue veil comes down and they will try to deflect everything that comes their way.

Cops look out for their own, especially when they are in the wrong. :beli:
