Corey is honestly, truly soft as wet Charmin and a perfect example of why at least 95% of celebrities need social media managers. Ego's so fragile they can't handle criticism but at the same time so big that they *need* the validation of vanity metrics (likes, followers, retweets, ect) so they engage with any and everybody that @'s them.
The mute/block and report buttons are all there for a reason. Almost all of us who work in creative fields and use Twitter as part of our professional platforms have had the uncomfortable moment where someone @'s you with their unsolicited opinion of your work, your employer, or a project you're associated with. It happens and if you're on Twitter, *especially if you're using as part of your professional brand, you better learn to deal. And the thing is, someone stumbling into your mentions being rude is annoying but it's ultimately not that serious. This wasn't someone making death threats or trying to doxx him or otherwise harass or endanger him. He could have hit the block button and kept it moving. They didn't even curse at him or call him names. This is one of the mildest criticisms that he could have ever encountered online and this is how he reacts? Yeah, like I said: Soft as wet Charmin.
