They could also give people time off through various points of the year so people aren’t run into the ground and creative could actually try for a change. They used to do it, so why not do it again?

That’s largely by design. At one point they were both lower midcard guys themselves, and eventually they were allowed to find their own gimmick while management was committed to helping them find a persona that worked. They don’t want there to be another rock or Austin. They know it’s all being booked like shyt these days, and that’s because they want it to be bad. Let’s think about who the last person who legit got over on their own was that wasn’t overtly sabotaged by this company. I don’t mean like Bryan where the fans straight up refused to give up on someone despite how badly the company tried to bury them. I mean someone they probably saw as a mid card guy who got over enough that the crowd wouldn’t boo them and decided they wanted them to headline. Was it :smugeddie: maybe? Edge? Jeff Hardy?
Sounds like this was one of those odd in character shoot interviews.

that :flabbyvince: has become that he still looks at all communication tools besides calling a landline or writing letters in this manner, most notably every modern form of communication, while at the same time this company begs for attention on all these same websites. Pitiful, shameless, and entirely lacking in self awareness.
