They had the city alight for weeks - National Guard and police were down there brutalizing people - do you not watch the news - or do you think the people who put in vastly more time and energy into fighting back the system over the last several months are supposed to be running around assassinating local leaders?
They peacefully protested, they rioted, they provided demands, the city acquiesced to some - they've gotten a crop of local and state candidates to promise things, they've done everything institutional and also extra-institutional short of had a full revolution.
