This is what happens when people make excuses, then find the cops innocent for killing men like John Crawford, the young Black man killed while holding a toy gun in a Walmart. At least they gave this White guy here commands. But all that yelling made it just as terrifying and hard to watch and listen to.
I remember in the early 2000's, a cop made me get out my car, and get on my knees with my hands up over some bs. I had on these shorts that were too big. I never intended to get out my car during that drive to be seen wearing them. So when I got on my knees, my shorts began to sag. When this happens, especially out in public, and especially if you don't sag, your first instinct is to pull your pants up, assuming the cop don't really want to see your dirty draws. So that's what I did, but I did tell the cop I was pulling up my pants. I guess I had several things going for me, like it was a Black cop, I told him what I was doing, it wasn't no kind of emergency call like me having a gun, the cop really didn't want to see my draws, and it was the early 2000's....eventhough things were already crazy enough. But today, I'm not sure what would have happened, with these trigger happy cops getting away with murder.
