Tha black community as a whole doesn't even acknowledge him, a man who sacrificed his own life, for his people. This is why we've adopted a habit of being forgiving and agreeing, and in some extreme cases c00ning, bcuz we have no choice, we know we're in no real position to fight back like we should even if we only realize this on a subconscious level, doing so would mean foot on neck season has arrived. So what happens is alot of us half step in our fight for freedom, which amounts to nothing more than symbolic gesturing and futile bargaining. Some of us say fukk it and strive for individual success in a white world, black ppl be damned. Some blantantly c00n for their piece of tha pie, others feel guilt and break a piece off for tha ppl they left behind. Some of our more unfortunate see no way out of tha madness and indulge in self destructive behavior. Tha penitentiaries and cemeteries are full of those. Some of us would rather stick our heads in tha sand and run away from who we are rather than face tha painful realization of society being against us. Serena willams, sage steele and Jesse lee peterson come to mind.
Most of us are just looking to get by, to get to a point where we can tell ourselves "i can live like this." "As long as i have x salary, y assets and a family to rear i can face tha madness and live a relatively comfortable, purposeful life." And getting to tht point inevitably means taking to tha chin most of what white supremacy will throw at u, there are limited measures society allows you to take to combat this on an individual level, but you slip up & buck back one too many times, at tha wrong time, tha wrong person, or too aggressively & thts yo livelihood freedom and potential life gone. Now i can't speak for coliworld where everybody has 6 certs makes 6 figures and drives a 6 series, but whats sad is in reality most die never having achieved tha lifestyle they set out to achieve. They either can't do it or give up and settle for mediocrity. Tha point of my rambling is tht white supremacy is something we all have to face whether we're aware of it or not, which incurs alot of varied responses from tha ppl it affects. People like micah are an extreme outlier, something tha so called militants here have failed to understand bcuz they don't operate in reality, they think in terms of daps reps and negs.
