The mayor of Dallas is pushing back against politicians who say Americans should be skeptical ofSyrian refugees, saying he is “more fearful” of armed white men than people fleeing civil war in the Middle East.

Speaking to MSNBC on Saturday morning, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings was asked to discuss the growing anxiety over Syrian refugees entering the United States, purportedly due to concerns they could be potential agents for militant groups such as ISIS. Rawlings staunchly rejected the assertion that Syrians are somehow uniquely prone to violence, saying he is more concerned with the rise of white supremacy and the recent flurry of mass shootings committed by white men.

“I am more fearful of large gatherings of white men that come into schools, theaters and shoot people up, but we don’t isolate young white men on this issue,” Rawlings said.

He also said that vilifying refugees only helps ISIS, as doing so falls into their “trap.” He then pushed back on the notion that ISIS is somehow representative of Islam.

“ISIS is no more Islamic than Nazi senior staff was Christian,” he said. He also subtly challengedChristian governors and other followers of Christ who have rejected refugees, referencing Jesus’ scriptural call to “welcome the stranger” in Matthew 25:41-43, asking, “Christ following people like myself — how do we deal with this issue of strangers, and are we going to let them in?”

but is he more afraid of armed white men as opposed to armed black men?

so you're opinion is worthless.

If you want to help.... go hang some of your fellow cacs if you think they have a chance of harming any black men women and children.

Peace

Just my two cents man not telling you how to feel. You strike me as a p*ssyboy who's contribution to anything won't go far beyond your keyboard tho.

@dtownreppin214 Man did you hear Luscious Alexander on G-Bag Nation today? Dude was soft shoeing like a motherfukker, he was saying it's only the few bad officers that commit police brutality and that most are good. His exact words after was "I love the police, and if i see you around my house i'm calling the police":snoop:. He claims to follow the teachings of Tariq Nasheed and Corey Holcomb when it comes to realness, but i think this latest incident really exposed the faux militants.

A lot of you have nothing but pure hate in your hearts. Life is far too short for that.

Instead of being angry all the time, I am going to make the best out of life. I am cool with white folks around here and they are cool with me.

Learn to live together. We may have our differences, but in the end, we all bleed the same color.

Look at this we are the world ass nikka brehs.

You smart dumb fukk.

:what:

A) Statistics go down and sometimes they go back up again. Not to mention that you aren't accounting for casual membership.
:why:
fukk wrong with you getting bare facts from history.com. You don't know shyt about the Klan.

B) The modus operandi of these terrorists has changed over the last 100 years.
It's no longer just lynchings or pipe bombs. It's public indiscriminate shootings. Its all tough talk from the internet until someone shoots up a black daycare or a graduation at an HBCU.

C) I fully accept that violence is necessary in the name of progress. But, the consequences of entering a "war" of escalating violence shouldn't be taken lightly. Stop romanticizing the past. The terror that blacks faced shouldn't be taken lightly. Children being lynched and girls blowing up during Sunday school isn't something to overlook. The Assassination of black leaders isn't just a footnote in whatever militancy pamphlet you're reading. it's disrespectful to the fallen to do so.

D) The pro-black movement lacks leaders, structure, discipline, coherence etc. adding violence is a recipe for disaster.

:snoop:

Blah, blah, blah. Stop being a p*ssy.
