about the john lewis tweet, i don't want to diminish what happened in the civil rights era. those people were clearly some of the bravest of their time, but if you take an honest look at what really led to civil rights you'll see it wasn't peaceful marches, singing and praying. it was the government realizing how pathetic it looked demonizing communism and soviet russia during the cold war while a huge chunk of their citizens were being treated as sub-human.

like killer mike was saying last night. the only way for change to happen is through violence or messing with their money. look what happened when MLK started talking about messing with their money and economic equality.

the media however has controlled the narrative and make it sound like the only way things will change is through keeping peaceful and voting for politicians that are only responsible to their corporate interests. they have rewritten history so people think that change happens this way. they're ignoring the massive amounts of violence during suffrage, civil rights and union rights that really put the pressure on change.

On a side note White law enforcement officials have to be pretty concerned right now, because terrorist groups like ISIS saw that shyt yesterday and those groups realized that local law enforcement is ineffective against pretty much everything except shooting unarmed Black men. Yesterday was just one trained military man with a rifle. What if that had been 5 guys with rifles and explosives? Safety in this country is a complete illusion.
