The post read: #‎BlackPower‬! ‪#‎BlackKnights‬! Sniper Assassins Take Down Five Police Officers! And More Will Be Assassinated In The Coming Days! Do You Like The Work Of Our Assassins? Get Your Own Sniper Rifle And Join Our Thousands Of Sniper Assassins Worldwide In The Fight Against Oppression!

Five cops have died and others remain critically injured after snipers shot officers during a protest against police brutality.

It also warned that a senior police figure – Carl Dabdie Jr. had been contacted about a potential attack, and suggested more attacks could follow in the future.

The ambush-style incident followed days of protests over police brutality in America.

Two young African-American – Alton Sterling and Philando Castile – were shot by police at point blank range.
The society which also calls itself the "Sniper Assassins" posted in the run up to the event.

On a #BlackLivesMatter post the group said it had already warned police chiefs of the forthcoming attack, and shockingly that "more will be assassinated in the coming days."

In the same posted the group said: "Justice will be served for Alton Sterling!"
