Cooper Flagg is just an oversized Payton Pritchard with hair bangs

I don't think this is accurate, at all.

The hype didn't really push him to having this super dominant offensive game, but more so someone who can affect the game in all different ways, which he's lived up to. There's a reason why the majority of NBA comparisons are of players whom are vastly versatile. Especially given he reclassified, you've got to give players like him a grace period to find their feet.
Not betting against dude, but I don’t think he’s some generational player to carry a team. I can’t see him being more of a factor than someone like Banchero or Chet who’re just bigger versions.

Considering the hype, yes, underperforming because there have been other college players who have challenged and are challenging going #1 now. Dude isn’t a surefire #1 honestly, but now it’s moved to the point of what a team may favor compared to the other players.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a trade down from #1 come draft time, which I think a smart team might do: land Harper or Jakucionis and a ton of future assets for the next few loaded drafts. I honestly think that’s the best move this year if you have pick #1: let a team give up their future for Cooper Flagg, then go shopping on Boozer, Dybsanta, Peat, Alijah, Tyran, etc.

Yeah that too. Can’t have your lead ball handler who’s supposed to run an offense with a loose handle.
When has Chet ever been a lead ball handler? Is Cooper even the lead ball handler on this team? I see Kon Knueppel running the pick and roll more often than him. Bro averaging 17 points a game and 3 stocks a game. Those are better numbers than Paolo when he was in college

He shouldn’t be the #1 pick but the scouts never adjust their group think

I would draft the guy that cooked Team USA in practice over the summer

He's gonna be a perennial all star

Exactly

College stats and college games mean nothing to me. Luke Garza, adam morrison, corey krispert, shabazz napier etc. etc. were beasts in college it means nothing.

college game is slowly bringing the ball up running sets, pass pass pass, barely any players can create a shot or are allowed to.

even joel embiid avg 11 ppg and 8 boards in college and was a third option behind wiggins and perry ellis

Man....

After zion and banchero.

Not trusting no Duke player ever.
Player is wait and see off simply going to Duke.
As there are a number of red flags that usually result in issues as a pro. Namely reclassifying....
Couple with the Duke thing.

Experience leads anyone.
To just wait and see.
