He clearly had some insurance policies which would have been required by the company handling his most recent tour with Montell Jordan. He also has some personal property that will likely be distributed among his heirs.

Dying without a will is bad but wills still have to be probated so the courts are going to be involved either way. He definitely should have had a revocable trust due to his celeb status to keep a lot of his personal information out of the public record. I also wonder why it is his FORMER manager who is petitioning - maybe Coolio owed him money?
