All my ribs came out like rubber and were unchewable. Cooked em based on internet instructions and they weren't undercooked. Just tough as shyt.
That could be a lot of things. I've never had ribs come out tough. How did you marinate and cook them?

Marinate in what and how long?
Choose your own adventure on that one. There are pre-made ones that are like zip lock bags, there are ones you can buy in a a bottle.

I usually buy a bottle, then mix that with different liquids depending on the flavor I want. I'll always add in orange juice, because you want the acidity to help break down the muscle fibers (that's what makes the meat tough). Salt helps with this too.
I like using root beer or Dr. Pepper. Then I'll add in some dark beer and/or a little bit of whiskey or bourbon.
Then you can add any seasonings or spices you want. I also usually do some minced garlic, or at least the juice from the jar.
You'll want to do a little worcestershire, and soy sauce is good for marinating too.
There's no wrong answer, you just find what you like and what works.

I try to marinate mine for at least overnight, but you can do as little as 2-4 hours and still get some effect.

You can also spray them with apple juice/cider while they are cooking to add and maintain moisture. Probably every 5-10 minutes in the air fryer, every 30-40 minutes in the oven.
