The way I see it...42-40 should get LA into the postseason...So what I'm hoping for over the next 21 gms is a 13-8 record....That would get the Lakers to .500....Then aim for a 6-4 record to close.....That would put them 2 gms over .500 (42-40).....I don't think that's too much to ask.

If LA does not make the postseason the 3 biggest reasons they fell short will be:

1. Lakers management not making Turner/Hield trade

2. A.Davis

3. The officials


All 3 aforementioned reasons contributed to LA's inability to close games.

Those 3 missed calls on the Celtics were probably in overtime...Those officials aren't slick...They knew there would be backlash so they waited until the Lakers got down in overtime to start making calls in their favor, or made calls that did not directly impact the scoreboard
