that's an exaggeration but he's not too far off. You trade Russ and you better find a dude who can do what he can do for AD. Schroeder can't do it and he's part of the reason why AD starting falling off in 2021. AD would be visibly frustrated that dennis couldn't get him looks. it's impossible to praise AD's resurgence right now without praising Russ' playmaking cause it's hand in hand.

While I think ultimately it’s a moot point as the lakers probably wouldn’t trade a first for a 33 year old it’s just a weird hill to wrongly die on

I'd make the trade ......A non-ball dominant 20 ppg 50% fg shooter who has shot 40% from 3 over the last 7 seasons...Getting Bagdonovic would put LA in a position to win the championship not just this season but also next.

G- Dennis
G- Walker
C- AD
F- Lebron
F- Bogdanovic

No firsts bev/nunn/Jones on the trading block

I don't think they gonna trade bogdonavic without a first. He's signed to Detroit and they aren't really worried about cap space at the moment with their team being so young especially with that extension they gave him.

Westbrook isn't doing shyt for AD.

@MyApps is just trying to push his shameless ass Westbrook is the Lakers' best player agenda. He's been trying to gas him up over AD all season. He's not arguing in good faith.

AD only started falling off because he couldn't stay healthy, and struggled to find rhythm with his jumper (which he no doubt will hit another bump in the road in the future).

Look at all the looks that Schroeder gives him. He's clearly capable of getting him the ball in good spots.

Whatever you believe Westbrook is doing is easily replaceable. AD is in a zone right now, and only needs the ball in his hands. Nobody on the team is doing anything special - it's all him.

I don't think Miles Turner is it anymore. At least not for the price he would cost which would be a 1st then a 20-25 mil extension which would eat significantly into the capspace. This dude can't guard real bigs and seems to wilt against stronger competition. And with the way AD is playing he'd be situational in a lot of scenarios. He's nice but i can't justify the cost...short term and long term.

They might want to still go get Hield tho...

did AD tell coach he's cool playing center???

if he is bogd is a good choice.. i also like justin holiday.. I think prioritizing 3 and d players with size is better

Honestly, I’m content with just being buyout players. Only things we really need are a 3/D wing and another decent big (that’s not as necessary I think we can survive with T.Bryant and Gabriel) but all that big trade shyt ain’t even necessary like that now.
I agree, I think buyout talents are the way to go. No sense selling the future to win now again. There are still some years in AD's prime and Russ and Bron are on the tail ends of theirs. Lakers need to get in the habit of just reloading.

Lakers desperately need another wing and another big (Thomas Bryant was getting bodied by Gafford all night).. you can't have Bev be your "go to" wing defender. It just can't happen
