I dare say this is damn near the best basketball I’ve seen the Lakers play all season in the first half. Of course it’s not perfect but it looks really good.

I honestly think they know they got that in their back pocket and still looking for other things during this first quarter of the yearThat LeBron AD post pick n roll should be ran every time
Maybe but I'm not 100% convinced anymore. Probably depends on what kinda offers he gets in free agency. If some nut team comes through and promises a starting spot for $25 million a year, he's gone. But what team even fits that bill? He's leaving LA as soon as the final second of the season hits
Bro, you really shouldn't say this.Low key, Westbrook's playing himself into a reasonable contract next season with the Lakers. I say that as his biggest hater and detractor.
He's a bench player, so he shouldn't get more than $5-10 million a year, especially with how erratic is shooting and decision making will always be, but he's generally been a positive player off the pine.
That three.the price went up after his recent contract extension and his play. i wouldn't even bother now.
Stop it. Russ starting is not a winning formula in this league.Bro, you really shouldn't say this.
He SHOULD be starting, and will be in dye time.
Also, Russ has never played with an ELITE big before. Him and AD are almost made for each other.
They’re not good enough to be experimenting… they need to beat people over the head with their most efficient stuffI honestly think they know they got that in their back pocket and still looking for other things during this first quarter of the year
Don't think its about any offers or spots, he most certainly will be offered a backup role on most teams outside of a few. But the FO and fanbase did a lot against him and I doubt he wants to relive that, I don't blame him.Maybe but I'm not 100% convinced anymore. Probably depends on what kinda offers he gets in free agency. If some nut team comes through and promises a starting spot for $25 million a year, he's gone. But what team even fits that bill?
The only teams with cap space like that next summer are Orlando, OKC, Charlotte, Sacramento, Detroit, Indy, Houston and San Antonio.
OKC isn't taking the ball away from SGA and Giddy; Charlotte isn't taking the ball away from LaMelo; Sacramento has a top two offense right now; Detroit has Cade and Ivey; Indy has a locked in backcourt; Houston needs to get Green touches; San Antonio certainly won't touch him.
I guess Orlando could be foolish but then he'd be taking the rock away from Paolo, Franz and Suggs.
I just don't see who's gonna offer him a big contract and a starting spot. The Lakers make sense for him going forward. It's difficult to imagine him getting a big offer.
