The players we got from trading Russ haven’t really done shyt in the playoffs. DLo had a couple of good games but that’s it. He’s a cone. Beasley and Vando might be outta the league.

But us getting this far isn't an indication that the team is actually good though. We caught a massive break which is why winning that play in game to avoid the nuggets was huge. We played the Grizzlies with no frontcourt depth since Adams and Clarke was out and we played the Warriors who were a complete mess on and off the court for multiple reasons. If we had played the Nuggets in the first round, this reality check would have happened a month earlier.

Getting to the WCF means something if there's a path for them to make it past that. Do you see that? Denver is only going to get better. This is the exact same situation we were in 10 years ago. An aging Kobe and aging Pau with no upside. You could see the downfall happening. It's why there's no moral victory in this.
