@2Quik4UHoes and @Black Mamba yeah I understand all that. Shaq acts like a ho sometimes. But at the end of the day he led us to a 3peat and 4 finals after Magic caught HIV and it looked like winning was over for us.
And he gets props for that. But I think if he had played his career out in LA instead of going to Miami acting all sassy just to be passed around from team to team like a hoe he’d be more beloved amongst the fans.
And like I said, even with all that I’d say most Laker fans fukk with Shaq.

I don't think Shaq is overly disrespected by the Lakers fanbase.
Shaq just comes off like an arrogant malcontent and a jerk sometimes on Inside The NBA, which I think has diminished his earlier "fun loving" image from his playing career. That combined with the deification of Kobe have some looking at Shaq sideways because if you remember Kobe was looked at as the "villain" when it came to the breaking up the duo but now in hindsight everyone appreciates Kobe's intense will to win while they have a lessor appreciation for how Shaq approached the game.
