Understand the schematics. AD is the help defender. The minute Rui makes Jokic work and he twists and turns, AD is right there to take the ball away.

AD is great at reading where Jokic is going. He’s slow and once he turns AD can jump to contest.

Lakers should not be too upset, they would probably have won this game if Ham adjusted earlier.

I 100% believe they gonna win Game 2.

1. Nuggets defense is not gonna magically become top tier.
2. Learned that D'lo is not playable
3. Focus on getting more rebounds.
4. Nuggets not gonna shoot circus shots like that next game.

On the flip side this was ultimately a winnable game and Bron and AD both played 40+ minutes. If only Ham hadn't tricked off 20 points with those 3 guard lineups.

Jeff Green is washed. AG is their best defensive player and their second-best rebounder.

Without Gordon out there it’s basically a layup line for Bron and AD, as you saw in the 4th when he wasn’t in.

Denver will eventually either have to go super small or hope Green hits corner 3s. Either way with no AG they get a lot worse on defense, and they’re already not great.

Denver hasn't lost at home yet in the playoffs and has the second best home record in the league during the regular season. That Bron three was unacceptable in every way, they had a chance to steal a game they should have lost by double digits.
